About PAGSA
PAGSA stands for Physics and Astronomy Graduate Students' Association. All graduate students in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at UVic are automatically members of PAGSA.
Our mission
Our mission is to support graduate student success & well–being. We do this by providing academic resources, promoting an inclusive social community, and advocating on their behalf.
Our team
In September of each year, the members of PAGSA elect a new executive team. This team meets roughly once a month throughout the year to plan events and coordinate our initiatives. Any and all PAGSA members are encouraged to nominate themselves for a position. Information about elections is distributed both through the departmental mailing list and the PAGSA Discord. You can meet our current executive team below!
