Social Events

PAGSA hosts many social events throughout the year! Our goal is to create inclusive and welcoming spaces that facilitate mixing and mingling of the students in the department. Welcome BBQ

At the start of September, we host a Welcome BBQ at Cadboro-Gyro park. Some of the things you can look forward to include:

• Free food - we try to accommodate all dietary restrictions!
• Casual games such as spikeball and frisbee
• A teams-based games tournament - the games are usually unconventional!
• Meeting new people in the department

Holiday Party

In December, we host our holiday party at UVic. Our usual itinerary consists of:

• Secret Santa gift exchange
• Pizza dinner
• Team trivia - we make the teams!

Spring BBQ

Before everyone heads out for conference season, we do another BBQ at Cadboro-Gyro Park. It's a great way to catch up with friends and make summer plans!
